I can't get into my potc online beta game
 

I keep getting a login failed when I log into the beta game. Yesterday I contact the beta key site and said what was happening. I didnt get a respond yet. I am wondering if anyone knows. Reply to this Thread please.

Chances are it has something to do with all the crashes. It happens to me all the time, but I just press retry and it logs in okay.

Eh, you're probably not missing much. The lag makes it way too difficult to move anywhere, and it crashes every 10 minutes or so. It's a pain in the neck. XD

I was playing ok this morning now i get a IE msg saying "POTCO launcher has encountered a problem and has to close....We are sorry for the inconvience"

Is this happening due to server down or site maintenance? I'm almost to the point of uninstall and re-install. Would i lose anything in the game if i did that? Help!! plz :)

You do not lose anything in the game if you uninstall and re-install.

I got it working again i had to use my beta key to start all over again.

Ah, same thing is happening to me right now. Right after all the phase things are done loading, the gaming window pops up, then closes after a few minutes. Anyone have ideas how to fix this? This started right after the May 11th update.

I dunno for some of you, but ive had to start a 4th character, now have no slots, my first charcter cudnt get past task bug on tortuga (joshimee gibbs).

My second had same probs, my third i made when discovered new changes ment old charcter may never pass it, had just got past the task.

Then last update caused second and third characters to crash out when u click on them?

I've now restarted 4th and final chracter space left wise, this is working so far.

I think for it's just a matter of accpepting the fact, this is BETA testing, the things are going to be very buggy, no one said it was gonna be easy, i spose.

Not that stops me and others being irratated by it all.

Ive got some problems starting the game too. The login accepts it but then when the game starts a just a black screen pops up and 3 seconds later the game closes sending me to the login again saying "Closed Abnormally!"
Anyone else getting this?
