What are weapons best used for? PVP? battling? Messing around?
 

This is sort of like a poll but not on the poll pages

Ok if you had all of the weapons what would you think is the best use for them?:huh::huh::huh::huh::huh:

for pvp staff

for range hard combat staff for rowdy melee combat cutlass and for safe combat doll

and for messing around nades or if you got lv 20 staff put the useless desolation to impressing noobs lol :laugh:

PVP: Staff

Battling: Sword or Staff either one works pretty good

Messing around: like what Potco fan said using desolation to impress noobs :smiley19:

The Pistol and the Grenades do a whole lot less damage in PvP than they do PvE. It stinks. Howeva, the Pistol is very helpful with the Hex-eater, and, to a lesser extent, the Bane, when it comes to leveling with other weapons. The Grenades also have some use as a last resort or first resort weapon, your choice: they can make a heck of alotta money at Kingshead, and when you're stuck on a ship with a buncha high levels, they can work you out of it.

The Sword, Dagger, Doll and Staff are universally good weapons. With the new changes in Test, the Dagger appears to be an anti-Doll weapon now.

for pvp: voodoo doll or dagger

battling: cutlass's bladestorm

messing around: staff's #1 impressor-Desolation!:)

I have mastered cutlass and am level 17 with Staff. Still, I use my staff at lvl 17 when I board a flagship and there's a bunch of RED mobs on board.

I find the staff to be an overall best aggress weapon.

1 on 1 with an aggressing foe, and I'd take the Cutlass. But with a mob, or a fleeing foe, the Staff does nicely. The Doll at 20 gives you a rather quick tonic, a nice trick.

Questing, etc.. A mix of most weapons, but grenades is a bit of a chore.. really.

pvp to come, grenades they got some dry power in em now.
Then pistol

Flag ships like colossuss, staff and viper nest. If ya see the boss you and your doll will be making a good amount of laps.

Pistol to get seabeards, before they reach ya, so a darn Molusk will spawn.

Siege bomb to finish off whatever someone jumped you were working on.

Back to staff to take out all the urchinfist and seabeards at once.

Doll so you can keep healing that person you are telling how to do it right.

Cutlass, hmm without it being used for a cheat, guess it has blade storm outside pvp.

Cannon, latest pea shooter version is good enough for lower level characters to solo bb.

Dagger, where grenades will be after everyone complains how they are getting smoked by grenades.

That help any, lol.

Oh, messing around, siege bomb, ya don't have to move to kill everything.
Desolation, when you want to go get a snack.
