POF Posting Bug
 

Whenever I type a long post if I go back to make a correction it will delete the letter behind it and replace it with the letter I was typing why is that there.

Can you be clearer on what you mean when you say "I go back to make a correction"?

Are you using the "Back" button on your browser, or the "Edit" button to edit your post?

I would be making a post then I scroll up because I saw a typing mistake and I try to correct and it deletes the letter behind it and replaces it with a new one.

That still doesnt answer my question, Im not sure what it is your doing.

Are you scrolling up and previewing it, then changing it before you submit?

Or are you posting it, seeing it posted, scrolling up and clicking Edit.

Specifics when anwering questions are important, im not looking over your shoulder. :)

Also are you using the Halloween skin?

Im using the POF skin, It happens before I post it im not previewing it, it just happens when im typing it.

Sounds like an issue with your browser then, very wierd.
What browser are you using?

I've never had that happen, always use default POF skin.
Didnt happen in MSIE v6, and doesnt happen in v7 either.

And I edit alot of posts...

Oh wait, press your insert key, its your keyboard.. its in overwrite mode, not insert mode. (at least thats what it sounds like)

Sounds like you may have hit the "insert" key by mistake.

That doesn't just happen on POF if that happens again anywhere press the insert key near delete and home.
