It's left over from beta phase 1. It is where the entrance/exit to the jail was.

yea, thats interesting... I wonder what they decide to do with it in the long run...make it to go to another island quicker maybe?

I don't have a screen capture, but have you noticed that if you're in the warehouse with Will Turner that the second door in the back lets you out on the opposite side of the building? :piratear:

There are 3 doors in that particular room leading outside if I recall.

As for Swashs secret door? Thats the GM Staff bathroom. You have to have the executive key.

these things are tricky. In my time of being a lvl 21 basic player, I, having nothing else to do, did some deep digging. if ye remember, when the host gms where at devils anvil, they where never hurt. it makes you wonder how they get there so fast, too. they get EVERYWHERE with some sort of code. those things are portals to go to any random island of choice. funny why they do that, really. if ye recall the back dock of kingshead, it makes you wonder what it is for. same thing, really, as that door.they just wanna wrap it up in mystery, without revealing what there truly for. it could cause the whole game to collapse, so DONT tamper with them!

There are admin commands that they can use.

The GM's most likely have a TP command that allows them to TP to ANY game coordinate. The GMs, "DID" get hurt, I had to protect/heal one that was being attacked by crabs while he stood there and talked.

Want proof of administrative commands?

Try the infamous /time command

go ahead, it doesnt hurt long ;)

What I meant matey, is that people seem to find glitchs, strange doors, etc and they come up with crazy hypothesis like oh thats how the GMs get around without being attacked etc. I was merely pointing out that they use NO glitchs. They have administrative commands that they can use in the game.

Contrary to prior statements the GMs could be damaged, I kept the crabs off of one of them, lol.

As for that door, im sure its a remnant of early alpha/beta days. Closed off/shut off as they scaled down the product for early product distribution.

Otherwise, that door is to the GM bathroom! ;)
