I retrack my statement the other night about what guild I would be interested in if I ever left OFx.

Good luck with this!!!

Andrew 09-30-2008 02:35 AM

Good idea Erich, its like a training camp for the real thing :D

deepwonderment 09-30-2008 03:24 AM

I think the killing a seabeard thing is a little harsh. I'm in the guild and I haven't even seen one.

Andrew 09-30-2008 03:28 AM

Aye, and do all the rules apply that do in the real Guild?

Oh no they do not, Andrew. I too have had my second thoughts about the requirements and general rules for PIC Boot Camp.

I'll give you a little something now:
Quote:

2. Must listen to Erich Uchiha's and Will Stormmeanace's every order
That, to me sounds more like a guild dictatorship than anything else to me. (Sorry if I came off a little harshly, I can do that at times, heh heh.) If I may sugggest changing that to something more along the lines of "Must respect the Guildmaster and Co-Guildmaster." If not just have a basic "Repect all members" rule plain and simple.

The "Must be able to defeat a Seabeard" requirement is somewhat good but some good members are not always the higher lvls, although I respect your intensions of helping the main Partners in Crime guild by allowing the more powerful---although the more powerful are not the only ones who should be allowed. :)
Based on the reaction from the posters above, might I suggest the requirements being something along the lines of "Must prove to be loyal and show good, mature attitudes towards all members in order to be accepted into Partners in Crime via a report from Erich Uchiha and/or Will Stormmence to the Guildmaster of Partners in Crime regarding their current behavior."?

I do understand that this is YOUR guild so I will not force any rules to be implemented what so ever, other than the original Partners in Crime rules. I'm merely suggesting a change for a better setup. :)

I thought this was your guild isn't it?

PIC Boot Camp is Erich and Will's creation. And for that reason I will be there to help them with the guild via POF and POTCO but not become the one to prevent freedom to create sub-guilds by shoving rules down Erich's throat. One of the last things I will do in game is become a guild dictator...

But if this sub-guild is (from what I understand from they way THIS post is worded) the only way to get into PIC from now on you should have some say in the rules.

It also worries me that there's no mention of PICs rules in this post.

Of course, the Original PIC guild code will be included in PIC Boot Camp (which I somehow forgot to mention in that post, unbelieveable huh?) The rules for the ORIGINAL Partners in Crime guild (which also applies to PIC Boot Camp) can be found at the Partners in Crime Recruitment Page.

Dr. Zeppers 09-30-2008 04:57 AM

It was that particular line you referenced that concerned me.
I have no problems for giving respect where respect is due.

I always wish PIC the best of luck :)

Erich Uchiha 09-30-2008 07:35 PM

Nor, you dont realize that its not a Guild we are making its a guild activity for people that are new im not leaving PIC lol

or if you want ill leave PIC and start the bootcamp as a guild and when there ready they can leave the bootcamp on to PIC i think ill do this

:12_1_138:~Erich Uchiha~:12_1_138:

Aye, ye will be needing to do tests, proving yourself and such, but it will not be a nightmare. (for those that were worried!) We will be friendly and do some fun acivities.(Not as much as PIC though! lol) :buds:

Rule #2:
Quote:

Must be respectful of guildmaster and co-guildmaster and officers and guildmaster and especially me the party officer lol
For you all who don't know, THAT rule right there is right and wrong at the same time. It's right because repecting the people at lead positions is an important part of the PIC rules...but it's wrong because the "Especially me, the Party Officer" gives people the impression that you think you're better than everyone else. THAT, my friends, is not how the original Partners in Crime guild is established. The PIC guild is equal to everyone no matter what position they're in.

Plus, if I may add, I recommend giving the link to the Partners in Crime Recruitment Page in your thread so it'll give people a better look at Partners in Crime in general.

Erich, I have had the thought that you posted this guild thread way too soon--before all rules, reasons, etc can be reviewed and approved by me. I understand that we all make mistakes but we all learn from them. If I were you, I would take what you see from the Recruitment Page and put it into practice in order for accomplish a better presentation/advertisement.

Mr.LoveLocket 10-01-2008 12:52 AM

I'm kinda confused. Why does pic need a boot camp?

Swash 10-01-2008 12:54 AM

Aye i be Confused too heres what would happen if you opened a side guild

1. About 30% of PIC would have to leave
2. PIC would become less active
3. PIC Could fall back down to Number 9 on the Leaderboards
