Food! OMG best treat ever!
So I enjoy a nice snack while I am grinding on my weapons. I just had to post and say I found my soul mate in ice cream form. I am considering moving to which ever state allows multiple spouses 'cause I am going to marry Edy's/ Dreyer's Apple Pie ice cream. So not only is it AMAZING in taste but the calories aren't going to kill me( bonus!) Bad news is that it is a seasonal flavor so grab it while you can.... Or not, leaves more for me.
Soooo what are your favorite treats... sweet or salty. Let's talk about some food.:buds: |
For me what ever is in the pantry ill eat while playing :D.
|
Aye popsicles for me! :)
|
ROFL Tandy! Only you could post about being in love with ice cream, and be totally serious about it ;) Thought I was going to sail off the map reading your guild chat about it....
I would personally kill for a pumpkin biscotti, but that's just the martha in me. |
Hmm.... well it isn't a pumpkin cookie, but Edy's/Dreyer's pumpkin pie ice cream is pretty good too. 7 degrees of snackage... wonder if I can tie everything back to a flavor of Edy's ice cream.........???:pirate2:

Haha! CIGARETTES AND RUM! Also, I snack on whatever is quick for me to grab. My comp is next to the kicthen entrance, so I just dash in there now and then. Licky-chews and Snacky-things (as they're called in my group) include tortilla chips and salsa, homemade pita chips and hummus, chocolate covered pretzles, KETTLE CHIPS!!! OMG Kettle chips are the best things EVER! Ummm... Rum? Oh, mentioned that already, hehe... Whatever strikes my fancy when I'm on the comp that we happen to have in the house (though, when playing POTCO last year, I DID actually run out of the house a few times while playing in order to get some tastyriffic num nums!

Chocolate Drizzle snack mix, Archer Farms, from Target. Can eat one handed, keep the other on the game.
Now for something better, White chocolatre raspberry cheesecake on a graham cracker crust, with rshaved white chocolate and raspberry sauce poured over and fresh raspberries on the side. 6', 195#. And I can eat anything w/o gaining weight! |

Sooo , thought I would bump this up and see if anybody has any creative ways to use left over Halloween candy. :12_1_138:

What ya mean leftover candy? Is there such a thing? Never heard of it...
oh, but this is good... Snickers Pie 2 c. Oreo cookies, crushed 1/2 c. dry roasted peanuts, chopped 1/4 c. butter, melted 8 SNICKERS bars (2 oz.) (16-20 of those mini things you get on Halloween) 2 qt. vanilla ice cream 1/4 c. caramel sauce 1/4 c. chocolate sauce Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix cookie crumbs, peanuts and butter in 9 inch pie plate. Press into crust and bake 10 minutes. Cool. Chop candy bar into small pieces and fold into softened ice cream. Spoon into crust. Drizzle caramel and chocolate sauce over top. Freeze 4 hours. |

Okay... I'm going to burst your choco-bubbles with this, but I like soup! My favorite soup at the moment is Wolfgang Puck's creamy organic mushroom soup. Seriously... so good. Sometimes I stop by Panera Bread to get the "you pick two" asian sesame chicken salad and creamy potato soup with a side of french baguette on my way home from school. I always save half of the vinaigrette from my salad to dip my baguette into. Mmmmmmmm...
Other times I stop at Arby's and get curly fries. Tehe :psmiley35: OH! And let me tell you about Ciao Bella Blackberry Cabernet sorbetto... :piratesing: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...A280_SH20_.jpg It's about $5 a pint (basically the same price as Ben & Jerry's) but oh sooooooooooo gooooooooood. |
