Cannon Ammo Reduction
 
Ok, I looked around and have seen very, very brief talk about this.

Cannon Ammo was reduced from a maximum of 175 down to 125 and only 12 explosive yet no mention of this reduction is listed in the latest updates.

Plenty of other mentions about misc other reductions but nothing about the cannon ammo.

I wanna know for sure if it's permanent or another bug.

Btw Disney, I had 175 explosive shots...
Dontcha think you owe us the ammo back or credit for 163 shots that came up missing over night without even an explanation?
That's a lot of gold. Personally I'd like the 175 shot capabilty back...

So please discuss/elaborate...

This was posted a while ago.

But yea its permenant i think haveing 175 explosive was the bug this is the normal. I kinda wish i got my 2k refund for all those explosives.

I loved having 175 explosives. Although I hardly ever used them.:)

Chris you say this was posted awhile ago, where?

There is no mention of the reduction in any of the release notes.

If they posted these then you would think they woulda mentioned the ammo reduction...

Notice all the mentions of Reductions, Adjustments and Cannon references?
If it was meant to be you would think somewhere it would say...
"Reduced the amount of cannon ammo a player can hold"

Reduced the penalty for being caught cheating at Poker
Your cannon ammo selection will now be remembered when you switch cannons
Broadside cannons will target enemy ships better
Reduced the travel time to Cuba
Lowered the difficulty of some of the Quest task goals for the Voodoo Doll Quest
Adjusted the collisions on ships
Reduced the amount of damage skeleton ships can deal
Adjusted the armor on NPC ships so it is slightly weaker than player ships
Cannon balls are no longer be able to be shot through islands
Cannons do more damage the closer you are to your enemy
Fixed a bug that caused the cannon reload status bar to occasionally hang at an intermediate point

He meant the discussion on ammo reduction, not that it was posted previously in release notes (at least I think thats what he meant).

Anyhow, I do believe the amount was adjusted on purpose, and I would have to say I always thought that being able to buy all that explosive was a mistake, which has now been corrected.

Disney never reimburses players for gold spent when they make such adjustments, its happened time and time again with other various adjustments in weapons costs, etc.
