If you have ever visited our IRC chat channels, you're probably familiar with our bots and how they keep statistics for you. Because of the trouble we experienced with our service provider over the last weekend, we are taking advantage of the opportunity to make some changes on the bots to make them more stable and add some new features. Unfortunately, this change comes at a cost. All channel statistics have been reset. Please know that this change was not easy to have to make, but quite overdue.

On the upside... Crashing from malformed commands will no longer exist. Instead, you will be able to use commands that actually work! You will be able to use !place <nickname> to see where other users stand in the word counts. !tstat will display your daily statistics. There are other new commands as well, but I'll leave those to be discovered in chat.
