Green People healing glitch
 

I was in Beckett's Quarry levelling dagger on another pirate, and got healing from Bart. When I clicked EXIT that little screen, it closed and opened the screen up again, without the dialog.

I opened my friend list to crew and went to someone. When I got there, I had the dialog for healing. I clicked HEAL and paid another five gold, then a raider from nowhere smacked me, so I clicked it again and got healing again, then clicked exit. Then realized that if I hadn't been dumb, I could have taken that 5gp healing with me everywhere.

Is this a well known glitch? Do people use the non-stop 5gp full healing in PvP? (That would explain a lot! Like, the leaderboard...)

It didnt work for me so it must be a one time glitch.

I've had it happen with Gordon Greer before, where the only way to get away from him, is to open the friends list and go to someone. I don't know how to consistently make it do that (yet.)

hrm perhaps I will investigate that one see if i cant duplicate it

Ive had it happen not with Gordon Greer, but with Bingham (isnt that the navy guys name?)

I didnt think of teleporting to someone else, it always stuck me in that screen, always hated it. Ever happens again, i'll try tp'ing!!!

Lol zep yes its bingham and it would be a cool glitch you would never die as long as ye had some pocket change.

i have not been able to duplicate this even with other tricks i know

can u explain further what was happening when it happened

what weapon was in ur hand?
where you attuned by a doll?
what enemy were u fighting etc..

Obviously, I had no weapon at the time...but I said in the first post I was levelling dagger. I was alone (if that isn't obvious.) It might have been an officer. Or a grunt, or mercenary, or assassin. If I had remembered, I would have said it, but alas, I don't.

Can you please get a spellchecker and turn it on? :)

Every time it happened to me, I wondered, "why is there no hot-key for RETURN TO PORT OF CALL." Then I learned that I could TP to other people and forgot all about requesting a hot key. ("P" for "port" isn't taken, right?)

but I was not questioning you at all

I had only asked specific details because I was attempting to Duplicate what you had happen - so I could post how to make it happen on command

I only asked for those specifics because we had no way to know if for some reason you changed weapons or a person was around you or with you, etc..

you have to remember just because you posted the details you remembered we have no way to know that your intention was to post exactly what was going on - you could have been summarizing the situation

again we dont know unless someone asks

Got it again today, on "Little Ed" again. This time with cutlass. As I was getting the heal, an assassin got my pirate - pirate woke up in jail with health ABOVE the groggy bar and the healing dialog persistent.

Unlike last time, this time limited the heals I could do to one. So I still have to figure out the other one (where I had as many as I wanted) with the dagger, but not going "to jail."

Wow, this happened to me also with Bart ages ago! Awwww, I ended up logged out haha, I'll try this next time it happens.
