Okay, I've been on less and less recently. Mostly the grind of essentially building the same master over and over and over again has gotten to me.

There's no new content that's available to the pirate masters. There's no new storylines outside of short non-main story arcs, which is useless to a PM who's hit gold cap and has all the high end weapons and sails war-everything.

PvP isn't really my bag either. You HAVE to havea full crew complement to think about fighting PvP vs the headhunters. And that's hoping they aren't exploiting a repair glitch. And trying to deal with the people who think they can PvP in a light sloop against a war sloop....

Anyhoo, I've just paid up for another 6 months. So I'll check back in periodically. Hopefully they're going to add something worthwhile for players, and I feel badly for my guildmembers, but POTCO stopped being "fun" and became a grind.

I'll be trading in my nappy pirate gear for a pair of tights (City of Heroes) for a while. Already maxed a couple characters out there, but there's so much content in-game (badges, base building, temp abilities, etc) that I'd have to play a couple years to see all of them maxed. Hopefully, with more time POTCO can come to this point too.

Nat - I'm glad to se that you won't disappear completely - and I hope as well that new content is just around the next island...
