Things I found out about host GM
- Skill Respec (I CANT WAIT FOR THIS!) Also costs a gold price! Not stated.
- Halloween...UNDEAD PIRATES vs ALIVE PIRATES! - Upping guild limit along with friend limit! - Possible new skills - Possibly personal guild islands - Possibly a Kraken - Possible facing Jolly Roger - New islands - and some i forgot! I really cant wait for skill respec, i just cant wait. Also if I missed any feel free to add some! |

Here is what else I picked up on chasing GMs about.
Notoriety Cap change: 2 said "We are looking into it" 1 said "NO" Ship customizations are on the horizon. A 2nd Story Quest is being worked on.. about the most I could get from any of them on that. More boss battles are being worked on. Boss Battles will be repeatable soon. Kraken is far off, but still planned (impression I was given). More fortune quests to come clothes, etc. Upgraded weapons quests coming soon. Implicated that guild functions are being reviewed/worked on. They were very open to suggestions about Pets. They were also receptive to ideas of a pirate house/home/island/captnsquarters. There were rumors of future double rep date again soon. I also learned that a few of them visit POF. Hello GMs out there!!! I took a few moments to whisper an invitation to a few that I could get close enough to (it was crazy there!) And Thatch, and Ben congratulated me on hitting Level 40 today hehe. Keep posting your thoughts and ideas guys, they do get seen on occasion! :) |

I really would like the next chapter in our Main Story Quest to get up and running. I'm really itching to continue kicking Jolly Roger's skeletal behind. :D

The Kraken Exists
I have Sources that can verify one of these is 100% True
The Kraken is indeed going to be in the game they have the AI, Effects, Graphics, & Models also I am told the possible moves for kraken are Grabbing with tentacles, Holding objects/characters with tentacles, and the ability to take a ship down as well However the Moves I listed are only speculation the rest I know is comming for sure SO i CANT WAIT!!! for it - I wanna Battle the Kraken as it attacks the ships :skull: Added: after thinking about it I think ive found the reason the kraken was taken out of the earlier testing Dont you guys think it would cause a good bit of lag to have a large creature model loading into game and all the fighting going on around especially if you have more then 2 or 3 ships in same place fighting the kraken just occured to me it would be like a ton of ships are in ship vs ship all those models on screen draw the fps down and cause FPS Lag just a thought |

Yea most of these are random guesses and rumors on the devs part. I think the only one we can be sure is the hallows eve. However if we be expectin a new weapon before jolly roger takes over i be thinkin it better be out in test by the first week of october.

Kraken was in beta and later disabled due to issues - you dont think disney just said oh lets delete all the models, code, ai, effects, etc.. when they disabled it lol So i can assure you the AI, Code, Models, Effects, The Kraken are still there - they just are not enabled in game I still think Disney took it out for the following reasons A. when Kraken Spawns in game it probably creates a bit of lag near players B. when kraken is in game and a fair amount of ships are around it might cause lag due to the size of its models and effects C. I would imagine they are working on its hit-detection a bit more because a model that has the ability to grab and hold another model would take a bit of work to make it look and function properly So all in all my guess as to why it was disabled in beta and testing was due to some technical issues I hope they have worked it out because I want to See Kraken in game that would be AWESOME! |
