Did you use Take Cover or Open Fire?

Stormhawk 09-21-2008 04:18 PM

Yes take cover and open fire will make the bar go away the only to get it back is to ramming speed the boat you are attacking.:)

They have also lowered the time it stays active - now it seems to be less than the couple seconds it takes for my broadsides to recharge (for NPC ships.) In SvS, once it is gone, it stays gone...only ramming speed AND an act of God can make it reappear. I wish there were an option somewhere to keep it up (with the last ship hit) always, no matter what. Or scroll off the last three hit that are still alive, or something.

Yeah they did. 10 seconds and boom!
I hate this glitch :o

I've actually been having this problem for a while now, and it happens nearly every time I fire on a ship, even without using Open Fire or Take Cover. The worst part is that when this happens I only get 1 plunder. After doing some research it's always a crate or treasure chest, even on the high level ships. All in all, it's quite irritating. I sent a bug report and they replied back that it seems to be a problem with a random few players and are trying to have a fix for it in the next update. We'll see... *crossing fingers*
