Undead Raider or Undead Captain?
 

Well today i boarded a black harbinger after i knocked down its sails. (got out of ship) People had been saying a captain would appear so i was anxious to see! I didn't find an undead captain tho i found a level 37 raider :D

So what do you think? was it an undead captain or raider?

Weird. Usually raiders only go up to 36...... huh..... well, i guess you could some what call it a captain...

Well, on ships most of the time, some enemies are above the average lvl of those on land. So it's a Raider, Raider, and nothing but a Raider. Cool shots by the way! :)

To get on a ship you have to do a glitch.

Well first off, because they changed NPC ships to be able to turn VERY fast and move a little bit even when they have no sails, you have to first do the accursed flag-ship glitch. Then after you've chased a ship down and blown off its sails, you have to glitch off your boat (so you need to be familiar with glitching off every boat type - they are all different glitches.) Once on board the skeleton ship, you have to learn how to glitch through their stairs to get below deck to the raider/captain. You will almost certainly need to use ranged weapon attacks (which is a problem for the level 35 assassins on the juggernauts.) When done, you have to glitch off the enemy boat, to glitch back onto your boat and sail to shore.

Which glitch? Um, I lost count. (If they still had the skeleton glitch, I'd insist that be worked in somehow, as it would be really cool to be a skeleton, raiding a raider's skeleton ship. Don't exactly "need" infinite ammo to blow off a couple sails though.)

If you have Chain Shot on your cannon build, that is best. If not, you can use most any of the other cannon shots, but it will take longer. Aim at the masts of the enemy ship rather than the hull, and it will shoot the masts off.
