Need to level up Gun?
 

For this one you NEED to be level 17-24 in gun (and have Silver shot and/or Steel shot.)

Getting low rep because your lead shot is soooo poweful? Well...then try doing this. Find an UNDEAD enemy (with an UNDEAD tag.) And use steel shot on it...I was level 37, and I killed a level 22 Undead Grenadier and got 77 rep! (+ crew bonus, about 64 without.) You can use it on any undead and get good rep.
Take out your SILVER shot now with an ALIVE enemy (without an undead tag) and blast away it it! It may do 8-15 damage, yes, but it gives good rep! 100 rep on a level 30-40 alive enemy. If you have a 40% bonus, you get 140 rep. Yes, that IS a lot! Ok, now go level up!

Right - reputation is awarded for the number of ATTACKS that hit the enemy, not the amount of damage done. So always use your weakest attack 20 times, then kill an enemy. (Note: switch weapons and use all your weak attacks - curse, grave shackles, hack hack hack hack hack, cut cut cut cut cut, blast blast blast blast, REPEAT.) Works well on a Molusk after you drain their voodoo with hex eater.

Yeah i noticed that its real simple or you can use 15 silver/steel- 10 lead MUST use take aim.

But, if you want to maximize reputation bonus, you probably don't want to use TAKE AIM, as that causes too much damage (and therefore you'll get fewer hits.)

Hmm, my lead is rank 5...So if I take aim its gonna be in the 200-500 damage

Yes but it adds more rep when you use take aim

there is a trick to the take aim...
just hold it for like a split second and as soon as the bar comes up let go to minimize damage and then you get same rep(i think):grin:

This is true. And it's nice to not have to purchase silver shot all the time. :)

Correct - as posted in the REP Guide, using Take Aim very quickly can increase your chances for more REP, when done with the proper combination :)
