Cannon while at the helm?...
 

I'm sure this has happened to others, but last night I was out privateering solo. I always drop the helm and take a cannon and then go back to the helm...repeat.

Well last night, I was able to do both at the same time! I was at the helm of the ship sailing the seas, but I could fire the cannon off the left side of my ship (last one I used). I could change its ammo and everything. It was extremely hard to aim it that way as it all depended on the angle of the ship in the waves, but it was pretty ineteresting.

The other wierd thing that was happening was that it would sometimes let me fire off my thunderbolts in rounds of three!! Can you imagine that coming at you?! 3,000+ damage (in SvS) in two seconds...ouch

I tell you, it's amazing how much stuff this game lets you do that you're not supposed to do...though I think firing off the broadsides while shooting fury was pretty cool and would be very handy against the Navy and EITC....but it was too cheatey in SvS.

Oh wow! i love it when awesome things happen like that lol too bad it's usually a one off. Once it let me fire three lightning bolts out a cannon with one click of the mouse instead of one each time i click :) I did some good damage that night!

I had something similiar happen to me like that, only mine was while sailing solo I would be going after a flagship and when it said to grapple, after I got off the wheel and before I could get to the cannon, the cannon would grapple for me! Very weird but handy glitch! Especially when another ship thought they could get my target. Hasn't happened for a while though.
I guess they "fixed that"!

You clicked the F7 thing with "?" to report it, right, Crimson? I've heard of this one, but not seen it myself. Glitch masters say this can be reproduced at will (which explains a lot of SvS nonsense, lately.)

I particularly dislike the cannons getting a mind of their own and randomly switching ammo types, especially when it is something useless like chain shot or grapple hook. That one, seems to happen every time I take the colossus flag ship alone from my light sloop.

I always forget to do that. I was tired and barely awake in the first place...it's not like Disney would do anything about it anyway :laughks2:

I'm pretty sure I know how I did it, which is highly simplistic. I haven't tried to reproduce the cannon/helm glitch. The other one with the 3 lightning rounds seemed to be completely random and went away when I changed the ammo (a curious rabbit wanted to shoot off three explosive rounds at once).

I disagree. Reminds me of people saying their vote doesn't count anyways, so why vote. If enough people start reporting, the bugs and glitches will get fixed. May take them ages to do, but it will happen.

Just another thought... aim your shots?
