My sails are Setting
 

My days of plunder are over. No more shall I set out to sea (or teleport) to a foreign island. No more shall I search Fort Dundee for deeds or go on endlessly in search of rum. My first pirate, Star Rhys Isle, leveled out and mastered all quite some time ago. Stuck around to help my sister and neice acheive the Black Pearl.

I long for the days of newness of islands and quests, I need more adventure and since I am tired of sinking 20 EITC ships for a piece of clothing or tattoo i am finally docking my war frigate. I've had a great time and met a few good fellow pirates, although I was mostly a loner. i liked doing it on my own. Did the Black pearl on my own and am quite proud of that feat. Took me about 20 times but I did it. After doing it with my sister about 10 and finally getting some help from 3 other pirates I wonder how I did it. I was tenacious.

Thanks to all here at the forum who have helped me with their stories and advice. I have never posted before (again that loner thing) but have read lots. Where the dig sites were was probably the biggest help.

I will miss Pirates, and if they ever come out with a new story line I will be back. But I need new places and people. I remember my first time at Isla Perdida and how I was terrified of those wasps or going into Tormenta cave when I was a wee pirate and thinking I better get out of here! Now Star walks around afraid of no one and I like that but she needs more. So cancel my unlimited I will but without some sadness.

Well islnds9 - I'm glad that you were able to find some good information on your travells here thoughout the game, and that you felt you didn't need to be on the sidelines no longer... even if it is just to say 'see you later' :)

Feel free to come on back and read up some more... or even throw us a post now and again - and we all hope that POTCO has a new storyline soon :D

I'm glad you got help from peopel even though you haven't posted much.
This game is almost a year old after all so we can expect new things soon.
