Uses?

Okay, I've got most of the mechanics down pat, but I'm still confused on some small bits...

Morale Gauge- What IS this exactly? It constantly goes down, and I can't seem to keep it up...am I SUPPOSED to keep it up? O___o

Notority Rate- I understand the weapon upgrades perfectly, but I'm confused on the notority rating overall.

Lookout- How exactly does this work? I've looked for challenges, but after it says "You will be teleported to the game" it automatically shuts down, and I can't search up any more challenges.

Skirmish- Okay, I'm figuring this is a single challenged PvP, but how does it work exactly? I can't accept challenges, nor can anyone else.

I don't know anyone who knows about morale rate. All I know is it goes up when you're in jail, and it decreases when you fight. I'm sure they'll explain this soon.

Notority Rate is basically your skill level. You are correct about the weapon upgrades and all.

Lookout is still a new feature in this game. I haven't used this feature a lot myself since with all the bugs and all.

I skirmished once. When I played, the object of the game was to collect as much treasure hidden in the bushes. I believe the prize was money. There are still bugs in the game that do prevent players from doing this.

So pretty much, just hold tight. Most of the features you mentioned are fairly new and I'm sure they will be fixed by opening. If you want to, you can mention any bugs or problems you have in the game in the Report the Bug. That way, the staff is informed about these so they can fix it.

I don't know about while sitting in jail, but the more you fight, the closer you get back towards 100% morale. Still can't tell what it's effects are though.

Morale Possibility?

I haven't paid too close attention to the Morale rating, so I could be wrong...but it seems to me when I lose a battle, it goes down...and when I win, it goes up. Really, that makes sense, too...morale--it's better the more you win! Anyone else think this might be right?

mine goes down when I win And lose :'(

At this point my morale is at 87%, it has not gone up since it started its decline. I have tried everything including fighting, drinking, battling with others, etc. to raise it but it only declines further. Battling ships never increases my morale. However it is one of the newer "features" so I'm sure it gets better soon.

Notoriety I know increases as you battle. The more you kill the more notorious you are.

Lookout: when I activate this it tells me I'll be transported when one is found and the little telescope continues to spin in the side menu so I know it's still looking. I was teleported to a card game using this feature and I arrived just fine.

I died for the first time yesterday (with my current Pirate) and the morale meter then showed up and displayed 96%

It dropped slightly when I was attacking some ships, but then went up to 97% when I cashed in 6 crates of goods I plundered.

Now that I think about it, isn't morale used to describe your kindness or personal values? If that's the case, then killing would surely drop it, right? So maybe it was used o keep players from killing anything they see, for when it gets to 0 something happens? We should try that. Someone go kill rapidly and get 0 morale. :P

your "morals" define how ethical you are.

you "morale" defines how happy you are.

I haven't been able to figure out the morale thing either. My meter only shows up after I die and wake up in the brig. The number usually says 97% or thereabouts, and doesn't change. The red bar changes how much it's filled, but I haven't noticed any correlation between it and what I'm doing.
