What happens if....

I've seen the thread where it says what happens if your account is being moderated.
One question.
What would happen if someone had found out your passwords and overnight ruined everything you've done on POF.
As in say bad things and bad words and got you banned so you couldn't get on to tell mods what happened or you didn't even know?
Because I wouldn't want that to happen to me and think i'll never get to go on POF again to explain what happened and I don't even know what happened.
That would be horrible for someone to get your passwords some how and then your whole POF experience is gone forever.

Well, we've added extra security and prevention to hinder further problems. So if your account got compromised, you should use the contactus on the site to e-mail us and explain what happened. We'll see about fixing the problem and restoring your membership status. As far as I know of, no one has any any problems since that night.

If that happens and you can't email then you can make another account and tell everything. Of course you can't if you got IP banned.

Making another account is just going to get you in trouble with us. We don't allow a user to have multiple accounts.

We rarely use IP banning. ONLY if we have little other options. We catch most mulitple accounts in our new user verification process.

Also TTC is updating something and I was trying to edit a post for my story.
When it's back up will I be able to change it with no problems?

Nick is updating TTC's vB to 3.7.3 so the forums are closed. Shouldn't take very long but you'll need to log back in once it done. Won't be able to save anything right now.

In my opinon just make some random password. But write it down and repeat it to yourself. In a game at school we made a password and people had to guess by clues. To this day I remember mine as JCK805BLK
