Ever noticed?

Ok lets say you need to sail to outcast isle. So your sailing there, and you take a look at outcast isle. Hmm... a pirate on that SMALL island? Or is my ship just super huge! But wait, when you get ON the island, its really big...
lol, disney, please, get more realistic?

Outcast island is kinda like the house on Blue's Clues (if they still have that show, i really don't know) small on the outside, ALOT bigger on the inside.

All the buildings in Pirates Online are bigger on the inside than they are on the outside.

Could you imagine if you had to sail around full sized islands? That would take forever.

Chris 09-04-2008 12:10 AM

lol yea :D if they were full scale forget it it would take a week to sail around port royal

Tutle 09-04-2008 12:32 AM

at least its not slow, like real times

I find the 'smaller on the outside' look has a rather magical quality to it.
Adds some charm.

I'm tellin' ya... pirates may in fact be related to Time Lords (at least in the world we play in.) Not only do we have ships that change size and buildings that have different inside/outside dimensions, but crazy abilities to carry huge quantities of stuff in our pockets. Have you ever seen the size of Siege Charge?

I'm shocked they dont have "Tardis" as one of the possible ship names.

Why would you want to sail around it anyway? You just go up to it and click "Drop Anchor"
