Hendry Cutt's chest ...help?
 

Okay. You know that task? The one that says "Recover personal effects from a chest buried near Hendry Cutt's house for Scarlet..."?
It says that all chests are visible as a yellow dot on the map, but I have been everywhere on Tortuga and haven't found any...or Hendry's house for that matter.

Help? *leaves cookies*:D

well henry lives in the little loop right behind the tavern on tortuga. he looks like a lumberjack guy. but i dug up every spot i could back there and i never found the chest either! :(

Ohh. thanks xD I found him and his house "area", I also have yet to find the actual chest. D=

I ended up dropping that quest. One thing I noticed if I had that quest selected in my journal and got on my boat, I could see the yellow circle clearly on the island of Tortuga. Seemed it was the treasure buried near the gypsy.

I tried every spot on the island and nothing. :(

I also had to drop the quest. There are a total of five areas you can dig up chests on Tortuga, one of which is right next to Hendry's house, and none of them will yield the chest we need so I'm guessing the quest is still incomplete.

I am on this quest now and have looked for 2 days for this treasure chest and also have not found it. If anyone has found it yet please post it here. If you drop the quest Stella, what happens? Do you just get a different one and do you ever have to go back and complete this one? Just wondering before I drop it. Thanks, Carol (Maggie McMorgan)

There is a spot to dig just after you get in the middle entrance to the jungle IIRC. Not that I ever found the chest. :) Is that one of the ones you tried Stella Ruby?

I also had this quest and dropped it. I dug up every place in tortuga, including the ones in the jungles and caves and never found a chest. I just picked another crew member and got stuck on that one too....

Boy am I glad I aint the only one digging and finding nothing. I guess I'll drop it too.
