should i buy a war sloop and have a war ship or save for a war galleon i have around 20k gold

Its always going to come down to what you want, which is based on preferences.

If it was hard to save 20k (war sloop), its going to be hard to save 40k (war galleon), and even harder to save 60k (war frigate).

If you want a War Galleon, or War Frigate you are a good part of the way towards that goal already, and saving now will get you those ships faster. If you prefer sloops, then i'd say go for it, you can always save up for the galleons/frigates later.

After my latest SvS bout, the sloops seemed to fare very well, with thier speed and maneuverability. In regular game play, galleons hold the most plunder.. which is (in theory) why us pirates are out on the high seas for to begin with. ;)

I'd save for the war galleon and then if you still wanted a war sloop it would be a lot easyer to save up enough money for it with the war galleon

After getting a War Sloop, then a War Frigate and bring in plunder was ok but yet slow. After I got my war galleon, I cannot believe just that extra cargo space makes a BIG difference. Since I bought my war galleon (what, a week ago) I already have 24K saved up again. The tailor quests helped with that this weekend. :)

I wish I bought the war galleon sooner!

It all depends on what type of sailor you are. Do you like to stay out for extended times and get good hauls? The War Galleon would probably be for that type of sailor. The War Frigate is really just a good ship for PvP, it only holds 12 plunder and not 16 like the War Galleon. I love my War Galleon and War Sloop, the sloop was bought after the War Galleon, because you need a stronger and bigger ship to get you the money for the other ships. Just go with saving for the War Galleon and then buy a War Sloop afterwards.

When I had 20k I didn't get the war sloop I waited for the war sloop and I am glad I did that. Now I ve got all the war ships but I would advise you to save up the wr sloop is not the good
