Why homework?
ok we go to school for 7 hours a day 24-7=17 then we sleep for another 8
17-8=9 that leaves us 9 hours to play, spend time with family, and...... HOMEWORK like they work us enough at school now we have to bring it home with us after school is our time to use our unused energy not work ( doesnt apply for adults ) heres what i think they should give us MORE work at school and no homework except for kids who havent finished their work. Im an A.I.G student ( Acedemically Intellectually Gifted ) and that means i have harder work than other students and now i have harder HOMEWORK than others last year some days it was too hard i skipped doing homework then figured it out the next day and worked on it then |

I (in 9th grade) have honors biology and accel math and we get homework everynight >_< i mean these classes proove i know more than the average person so i shouldnt have to do homework. Ah it dont matter i usually do my HOMEwork in HOMEroom anyway :D <----- isnt that where we are supposed to do it LOL |
:th1287fm4: Aye swashbuckler, such is life and it does stink. I don't think a little bit of English grammar and punctuation homework would hurt you much though. You may learn to use periods (.) in some places of a paragraph, commas (,) where needed, and Capitalizing the first word of each sentence. It makes it easier for a pirate to read and understand where you're coming from. :bookishfj7:
You got the math down pat though mate....keep up the good work! :bookishfj7: |
LOL odd enough i write properly but type horribly lol :p i NEVER put periods and commas and capitol letters and all those other useless english symbols. ;'[]\~!@#$%^&*()_+=-`/.,<>?:"{}| <----- who needs em?

Good grammar, proper punctuation, spelling, and sentence structure are all important facets of communication. These are DEFINATELY skills that will follow you your entire life. It is best to learn and exercise appropriate use early on, as it helps to form better habits. I recommend those just learning to take advantage, and get accustomed to it now. Depending on a courses subject matter (but not always) teachers often use grammar, etc to determine what grade a student should be rewarded. Bad habits will have you receiving deductions for silly mistakes, that otherwise good habits would help you to automatically avoid. Homework can be a drag, I know, been a long time, but I've been there done that. I was pretty good however at doing most of it in class, and other than a few term papers was able to avoid alot of homework. (at least until college....) |
can i remember that far back lol
|
lol im with ya swash. waaaay back when i was in third and fourth grade (which i hated lol) i just did it in class. i am gifted too, so i either did that or drew random stuff the whole time. but NOW. if i stacked up all the homework they give us, it would probably make a staircase to everestt. lol.
