Tortuga Gravyard Crashing?
 

I'm not sure if I'm the only one to be experiencing this, but EVERY time I try to enter, the game freezes and then I crash.
Is there anyway to fix this?

You may need to uninstall/reinstall the game.
Sounds to me like a corrupt file somewhere.

Your pirates are stored at potco, you will not lose anything but the time spent.

If you don't have it, I could possibly find it.

Not sure about that one. I assumed you were talking about regular open server play. If this is not something typical, it might be a bug you should be reporting (on test).

Ok, well I uninstalled it and found it again, so I reinstalled it, so I'm going to get on it now.
If it does it again, I'll report it.

My friend has a sailing problem, when he goes sailing he crashes. (Not on test server)

Have friend make sure video drivers are as up to date as possible.

Ok, well I keep crashing when I enter other parts of an island now.
Like when I try to go into a cave of some sort, I crash..


Would following the instructions in that link above help me also?

Maybe Eric, im not familiar with "test" process. Have you tried contacting support?

I haven't tried contacting support, yet. I'll save that for when I'm desperate.
I did follow the instructions in that one thread, it did reduce lag for me.. but I still crashed..
Do you have some other suggestions?

if using Vista, try "pandadx10" instead of "pandadx9" (if thats what you tried)

sounds like your CP cant handle the game, does it usually lag bad?

I RARELY get lag, it only happens if I'm usually on an Instant Messaging thing and I get a new IM, such as AIM or MSN at the same time.

And I didn't do it that way, Zeppers, I just lowered the hardware acceleration.
Should I try the one bellow the first post?

turn everything on low, like special effects and everything. And I lag all the time, so much, im actually used to it LOL.

I'll do that right now, I'll edit this post to tell the results.
