boss battle
 

did u beat the boss battle yet and how?

with two of my pirates..

with help from a lot of close friends/guildmates

First pirate... got my battle hijacked... that murderous mutiny'd crew did win it for me though.

Second pirate (see sig)... snuck through it with one other friend. Didnt do any tricks, just alot of high powered cannon shooting as I was jumping from helm to cannons constantly.

Wasnt pretty... made it out with a shred O red... but we beat it!

I have since been on numerous crews that have beaten it, my cannons deal a hefty blow. :)

Im on a winning streak! 29 wins sailing in a row over the past 2 weeks. (I only sail when Im asked! No Hi-jacking!) I've won before sailing, and lots of times in crew, but Im loving my winning streak.

I do however, REFUSE to crew on a Glitched BB. It takes away the experience, IMO.

my pirate hasnt yet. im on hendry cutts. but i have beaten it before. :) with savvy and sven and a few other people. :)

I did it by myself with my second level 40 when it first came back out after doing it once with the guild. They made it harder since then but with my fourth Player a level 38 I again did it by myself and posted screenshots on my guild's webpage. I will get them later and post them on here. I have done the boss battle too many times to count now but almost always do it with just 2 people and make it the first time almost eveytime. Seems sometimes with a crew there is alot of confusion and that makes it harder to complete. Besides it's too easy with a crew and i prefer to do it with just one other person. They made another change to it too recently that was supposed to make it harder still, the first towers now start shooting at you as soon as the frigates are sunk instead of waiting untill the ship moves.
before completeing the boss battle by myself I have first took all of my guild members through doing a 2 person boss battle to show them the tricks and got sunk in the end on purpose after doing a lap around the goliath shooting broadsides and cannons into the water enough times to have sunk it a few times just to show them how easy it would be to sink it.
I would be curious to know how many others have completed it by themselfs. I tried finding out through disney but they said that they have no way of tracking or keeping track of who does what in the game. ( not thier exact words just going by memory)

Ok still haven't quite got the hang of this but this will give you an Idea. I accidently erased some good ones trying to figure out how to post on here but luckily I am using this av for training so I have yet to sink the goliath. I will do the battle by myself again and put better screenshots up and hopfully have posting them out. Oh and no glitching this is for real and I have also taken out and trained several people outside the guild to do 2 people Boss battles. As with everything in the game it will get passed around and we will all be able to do it.

I beat it on someone else's boss battle :3

Only one of my pirates have finished and it was with like 9 other people

Congratulations! I wish I had hooked up with Maximvs sooner and learned how to capture the videos, before I did mine. I'm not sure if I have enough disk space though, so maybe not. I definitely wish I had taken a LOT more screenshots.

Anyhow, I'm glad to see more people trying it on their own, now. /grats

So many just rush through it - sometimes high-jacking the whole experience.

Have done it many times with crews from 4 - 12. I think the key is to take your time, use strategy, and the skills that you've earned!
