Absolutely, do NOT create "threads for later use". Any mod that sees this will be removing it, repeated offenses may result in some disciplinary action. The forums here arent your scratch pad/reminder ;)
Actually its a bad idea in the first place, as you want your request for help to be brand new and seen by everyone. You go back and edit threads someone already read, and they will never see them (editing a thread does not make it "new" again for anyone). The only place this is acceptable is those creating guides creating posts to save room for thier large guides (and these are never threads, just posts)
A couple suggestions for all in similar situations. Out of courtesy for all your fellow pirates.
- DO NOT CREATE THREADS "FOR LATER USE".
- Please be more descriptive in your SUBJECT. The word "Help" is well, spammy... if everyone did this, we'd have 10+ "Help" threads a day.
- When requesting quest help, provide Journal information(J key), so we know what you need.
- If a meeting in game is required to assist. Be specific and give Pirate Name, Time, Ocean/Server, and Location. Without ALL of those, noone can find/meet you in the game for help.
