This is in off topic bc im not leaving i just cant be on nearly as much as i am now.

Reason 1: Today is friday the last day of summer for me tomorrow ill be real busy i should be fine on sunday but come monday im going back to school for another 180 days. So thats minus 8 hours out of my day.

Reason 2: I happen to be going into 9th grade or the first year of high school and i know that you grades are VERY important as they judge what collage you get into. I would like a very good collage so i need very good grades and honestly i havet done homework at home in 2 years O_o i do it in homeroom or not at all.

Reason 3: I need to become more social aka going to the park getting out more not come home and get on my computer and play all night until i go to bed. 1 because my parents are trying for me to get into clubs or sports 2 it goes great on my collage application

Reason 4: I need to stop playing alot on the computer my eyes are already sort of going bad bc of the computer plus sitting isnt very healthy all day.

I WILL NOT BE LEAVEING NOW OR NEVER!!!!!! im just simply not gonna be as active.

POTCO MODIFICATION: I use the same thread for every forum im on but i need to make a mod for POTCO. Since i wont be on as much on the other forums or games i play bc of school i will continue to post pretty actively here on POTCO i will continue to log on as much as i can and will continue to moderate the BTTB sub-forums i just wanted to start this thread because in case you notice im not on during the day or in the early afternoon now u know why however i will still be on ALOT mon-friday from 8pm eastern to aroun midnight eastern and on weekends!

We'll miss ya not being around so much Chris but I agree with your reasons 100% my friend!

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away... your Reason 2 described me.. to a "T". If youve been good with your schoolwork, you'll be fine (as long as you dont do too much #3 ie socializing). Keep at it.

You should get out and socialize with your peers, sports, clubs etc are good ways of doing this. I was a geek, so I had computer club (lol 3 kids on one apple ][), scifi club, and honor society. Wanted to be a football player, but they wanted me to practice before school even started, this cut into my summer working months (my only real 'personal' income) which paid my cars insurance and gas.. those things mom & dad refused to pay.

I didnt end up having too many opportunities for college, but was lucky enough to supplement my computer interest and get work in the field. Even with things going well for me now, I wish i'd had better opportunities for college myself. Keep the dream... go for it!

Chris you are an awesome person and i am glad you are not quitting :) I know school comes first i understand :) [ same thing is happening to me college D:] GL in school and have fun! haha :) you were my greatest friend and i am really gonna miss u being on 100% but ur reasons are right! and at least its better than quitting matey!

Oh i forgot 1 more thing since i am half mastering my pirate tomorrow night (staff dagger nades and noto) and im really close to mastering the rest that means less grinding ill have to do which means i can spend more time helping members helping guild mateys playing around doing PVP and SVS and taking funny pics :D

Good reasons will never justify a bad move. However, those reasons are pretty darn tootin' great, and I'm not so sure that move is a bad thing. I myself behave the same way with homework, though I'll often finish whatever I finish in a different class that offers free time. My school happens to start tomorrow: the date, for clarification, on Wednesday the 20th. I am two years your junior: a junior. Rather, I'm two years your senior. Reasons 3 and 4 are rather good too, but, here in Orange, the only things to do are go to the two neighboring cities.

Regardless, 8th grade rocked, 9th sucked. On that note, good luck!
