Please keep in mind that the game is not yet finalized. You may see unfinished graphics and hear unfinished audio, and also may experience crashes, dropped connections, or other issues that will affect your gaming experience. As we continue to improve and refine the game, we need your opinions and feedback to help identify issues within the game and prepare it for public launch! During the Beta test, we encourage you to submit feedback on the game and report any technical bugs you may encounter.

To begin playing, please use the Beta Account Key and instructions listed below.

To set up your account, please complete the following steps:
  1. Click here to visit the Pirates of the Caribbean Online Beta web site
  2. Enter the Beta Account Key listed below:

  1. Beta Account Key: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
  2. Login using your existing account name or create a new account.

  1. Please note: The Pirates of the Caribbean Online Beta test requires all testers to enter a valid credit card as proof that they are over 18 years of age or have parental consent to participate in the Beta. Your credit card will not be charged.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the registration process and download the game launcher.
  3. Once the download is complete, double-click on the Pirates Online icon to finish the installation and log in to play.
  4. Congratulations - You are now ready to play Pirates of the Caribbean Online BETA!
The Beta test is officially open:

Woah here... I signed up when I first heard about it and I never got this email or the other one about BETA testing. Should I call Disney and report my problem?

Schmoofy 03-13-2007 09:36 PM

This is going to be epic beyond belief. I didn't get a beta key yet, but I've been getting the newsletters. Hopefully I'll get a key :D

Because the software is in development, we are restricting access. The Beta key ensures that we can support the game's population and still gain valuable insight into the game's features.

So according to that, beta experiences and screen shots can't be shared. That really annoys me, I need to wait for my beta key to see inside now. I'm hoping it's worth the wait.

Sidestep 03-14-2007 01:20 AM

Like everyone else, no key. I wonder when everyone gets them.

Also, hi LD. <_<

PirateSkull 03-14-2007 01:27 AM

I registered another email, I hope I get a key! I was sad thinking I didn't get a key, but I can't confirm that yet!

Bo.Shwah 03-14-2007 01:28 AM

Yeah when do we get the key? It's this thursday, friday, saturday, and sunday that the beta is happening? Does that mean we will be getting our key wednesday or thursday? Or, are people already playing?
