Dagger, help?
Well, I'm starting to train my dagger, I'm level 33 overall. I'm level 9 dagger. Where would be the best place to train my dagger?

When ever I didnt have anyone to help me with healing I went to Isla Congreos (The one with French Lieutenants) I would hex them (the lieutenants) then switch to dagger. I got lots of rep that way, I must have went up for or five dagger levels that way. Once in a while a FrenchMaitre would join me in some fun and I would take her out before she got me.

Elizabeth has a good idea.
There's also the Spanish Pirata on Cuttthroat. Cutthroat also has Stumps. Other places would be Beckett's Quarry and its EITC soldiers (or Navy Officers) and the Beach of El Suduron and its Undead Gypsies. The benefit of the Quarry is that there are lots of NPCs which will do complete healing for 5 GP. There's the area just inside the entrance near Fort Henry to start with and the back stairs towards El Suduron once you get a little farther along (there's a 30-35 lvl assassin there). The beach also has the benefit of the pub with 5GP healing and a smithy right there for restocking. But there are also Grenadiers and Raiders to contend with (although the Raiders are easy to avoid unless you want to fight them. The trick to Grenadiers is to get right up on top of them and kill them quickly with your weapon of choice. They'll keep pelting you with grenades, but will be damaging themselves in the process. And since both the Quarry and Beach are on Adobe Island (aka Padres del Fuego) you can just teleport there as opposed to sailing (unless you want to work on sailing/cannons on the way). Thrown daggers give more rep than the combo attacks. Use "throw dirt" as often as you can. Or since you're working with knives, make it sound like a cooking show: Sprinkle liberally with dirt. Also unlock the various weapon types but hold off on putting points in the skills that increase damage until you are almost done (although putting points in the one that decreases the cool down times is a VERY good idea). Bring a friend along for healing (and crew bonus) if you like but that will be easier to do in the Quarry than anywhere else unless they want to fight as well. |
