Shrapnel?
 

What is this shrapnel skill in cannon, and what does it do? I am level 24 on cannon, and I wonder if I should invest my last skill point to unlock shrapnel, or unlock grape shot?

Well, I have mastered cannons, and I did put a skill point on it...shrapnel that is. It says it wounds ememies for a matter of seconds.... including while using nades. I don't have anymore points to put on it, but I do also have grape shot. I used grape shot a lot when taking flags on my own. You can hit everyone on the boat with it. Hope that helps you any.... and I am NOT quite the die-hard gamer.... although I pretend to be sometimes LOL

so shapnel is similar to the scorch skill of voodoo doll, in which after you hit an enemy with it, it continues to hurt him for a period of time.

Is it very effective?
