Quest tracking question

Hello all, and thanks for looking. I'm new to the game and this community. I had a question about the Quest tracking feature.

Does quest tracking continue throughout the entire game, or does it turn off after a certain level?

i believe as long you as you have outstanding quests they will be tracked. You can toggle off the tracking if you wish (by clicking on the individual quest and clicking the track button) or drop the quest all together.

My fully mastered Level 40 pirate still gets pointed to his last quest step occasionly, even with a blank journal. So i'd say it never goes away.

The quest tracking was not working properly for a while, but the last big update included fixes for the tracking. The tracking worked well in the beginning then it became too general and not specific at all. From what I've seen since the SvS update the tracking works well now. Tracking is very specific now as to what you need. Tracking has to be turned on for the quest you want to know about.

As long as you have a quest the tracking will work. I have pirates of all levels and it works for level one thru level 40. Just turn it on and let it help you.

aye it even track what ever the quest is for, ships, skelly, soldier , ect. dont care to much f the ship tracking.

yes, ive noticed now it points to the closest ship (thats in range) that suits your quests requirements. That is nice, helps ya to know your sinking the right ships. :)
