Which weapon is the best, the cutlass, the pistol, the voodoo doll, the dagger, the grenades, or the staff.:Pirate7:

Best... very subjective. Depends on the application. :)

Cutlass, Doll, Staff my favorites. Doll is the only one that will actually self heal (level 20 LifeDrain spell)

I like the nades: League (namesake) has a very destructive build in the works; Artful just focuses on resisting; Bardel has what I find to be my favorite, which I call the 2/3 De/De. My fourth pirate in the works after I finish with Dog has yet to be planned out, though I did figure out the choice of adjectives to go with the name.

Regardless, this topic ain't about the nades, and I doubt that it is the best weapon: the Cutlass and Dagger are the most damaging in terms of quick, relative damage; all others I call slow (though the distance that I can hit with the nades is wont to be overlooked). I'd say it'd be the Cutlass.

i like the doll. i am SO good with it. it can self heal, (yet i dont have life drain yet) heal other pirates, defeat others fast, and so much more! at first it is hard to get started, but when you lvl it up, it is destructive. make a poll about this. :)

the doll is pretty good, but is slow, i think the cutlass is the best but also want to know what others think about the weapons

Well that I like most about the Voodoo doll, you wont actually obtain and be able to use until Voodoo Doll Level 20.

Life drain is one of the best voodoo spells of all in the entire game.

Attacks the enemy, heals the pirate using it. That spell alone is why the doll is one of my favorites.

the doll can both heal AND self heal

against the navy and eitc i would say the cutlass. But for everything else i'm a pistol guy. The doll is...for all it's cool features is a DOLL...i just feel less piratey when i'm running around in circles waving it. staff is cool too...just takes so darn long to get it.

i would change my vote is the ship was considered a weapon...cause there's nothing like taking down a big ship!

I like the doll. And if you use it in the right way, it can acually be fast. (unlike mentioned above)

I have Poke, Swarm, and burn all unlocked.

First I go in with swarm, then poke, then burn, then while burn is still inflicting damage, poke will have recharged, use poke, then come back with swarm again(it should have reloaded), pretty destructive.
