Sailing and security??
 

Hi all, new to this board, got my Beta and have been on for a week now. Sword play I have down okay, but how the heck do you sail the ship? I must have been sleeping during that class. :confused:

Also, what's up with this board? I heard it was run by Nick from the TTC board, which is very easily navigated, but this one is a bit more difficult. At first I was denied, becuase I didn't "meet requiremets"???, and now every post I go to read, it tells me I don't have access? What's up with that? I came here because a fellow toon from TTC told me about it and said it might be helpful.

I want to test out POTC just like the rest of ya'll I just am looking for some help to do so. If anyone has tips and tricks on sailing over to Tortuga, please post here or IM me.

It must have said "You don't meet the requirements" because this site is rated PG. Pretty much for teenagers from thirteen and up.

Also, to go on your ship, press "Tab", then look for the Ship icon, click on it and press "Deploy".

If you need anymore help, please let me know. :)

Yes, Nick owns this forum as well as Toontowncentral.com. The admin team is the same from TTC and the mods are mostly from VMKForums.com so far.

All of Nick's forums require all new users to go through an approval process. This hinders many advertisers, spammers, and other potentially hazardous users from joining the forums. I see your a member here now so you must have made it throught he process. I'm sorry about that, but we preffer to make sure all of our members are safe.

I'm not sure what you mean by don't have access, but we do have some membership forums like on all of Nick's sites. Just go to Group Memberships and add yourself to whatever group you'd like to join. Otherwise, you should be able to post just about anywhere on these forums. If you are still having problems, let myself know exactly what error message you are getting and I'll track down any bugs. We've still got a few to work out of the forums.

Nice to see some follow TTCers here. You should enjoy the game. POTCO isn't that much of a difference from toontown other than the whole pirate theme..lol
