boss battle question.
 

i am on gordon greer part of the black pearl quest and i was asked to the boss many times. the first time i got killed from a bladestorm from the lvl 38 officers. i refused my friends boss because i feared that it would complete mine even though i have'nt unlocked it. he is a high lvl with a good guild and crew so he would complete it. but he didnt start the boss cause i would'nt do it. i would accept if it does'nt complete mine. i am on gordon greer.

it will only complete it if u have unlocked it at the time

oh. ok. ill say yes next time. i have'nt completed the quest yet.

Could someone explain to me how to avoid being knocked into jail when landing on the ship during the beginning of the big boss battle? I have been invited 4 times and haven't made it past the opening battle once! I could use advice. Thanks!

Use the doll and run a lot. Then have tonic with you to heal yourself. I managed to beat all of them alone with this technic. Of course I have life drain as well as tonic with me and I practice a lot on big flag ships all the time.

Very hard without at least one staff user... best have all three with REAL good dolls and try to at least attune each other as well to hurt them / heal you - two would need lighting with increased fire / fury better cannon option and the Capt'n would need some good take cover / open fire commands :)

No, I don't think the 3 of you could just do it alone.
I tried the same thing, and we were massacred when we had to ship battle. When I tried it was me (lvl 24) and 3 other mates. (lvls 33, 26, 20, 10)
To beat the ship battle you need people with good cannon exp. and one good person with good sailing exp.

you brought a lv ten along suprised that you lost

the best ay to win is for all of u to cannoneer and bring five people all lv 30 and higher

Finished the Boss Battle with three yesterday. I am lvl 29, and the others were 34 and 32. All of us have cannon over 20. The key to winning is whoever is sailing needs to take their time and have a good plan of attack.

The main drawback is now we have no more quests.......

You've got to be kidding me, coz Take Cover works very well for me. I just sailed & beat 2 of them earlier. Including my best one yet with only 55% damage. All my other ones were around 88-96% damage coz the crew never listens on those ones. But then again probably coz I have rank 3 on Take Cover.

I just love BB, it's the best part of the game!
