privateer stuff?
 

where are the test servers? i need to do the privateer stuff. i keep trying and trying but no matter how hard i try i never get it right. anyone know where to get to the test servers?

Test servers are "private" invite only.

You must be an invited "test" member/pirate to access them.

There are no signups, etc. for testing.
POTCO 'invites' players (via email) that have been around for awhile, etc.

tester feedback?
 

So, i've read very little regarding how those on the test server are enjoying the privateering. I have read that there will be quests to prove your worthiness, etc etc. but what about the ship battles? do the testers like it?

The Inner / Outer Hull Damage I think is going to be the bigger adjustment than the SvS - simply because the playstyle is so much different than before and affects both SvS and normal sailing (and I agree with Iron on this - the reduction is TOO much, - it should be somewhat reduced, but I think they went a bit far with it)... I haven't been able to try the Hex Eater Shot remark Iron referrs to... but should I get my Test Pirate's Pistol to 12 (only 2 away now for Hex) I'll test it out and give comments then :)

Glad you addresses the light sloops with lightning and fury...was thinking that may be a good strategy as they are indeed hard to hit. But that would mean i would need to sell one of my war fleet ships just to buy a light sloop!!! LOL

maybe disney can up the ship count to 4.

^ Theres your answer Pdimi :D Its by Disney invite only - and asking them you'll get the "we are not looking for Testers at this time" line...

Also, as I pointed out in other Test Threads... test is TESTING... not playing... so after you play testers should be sending in their notes on bugs and crashes... :)
