useless skill
 

I just unlocked take cover, is it just another one of those skills where it makes your character just say somthing? I hate those

Take Cover has gone through Great Debate as a skill - though for the most part One Point on it now is not a bad idea (noting - it is NOT a forcefield... you recieve LESS damage from incoming fire).

It works well for the Boss Battle, as well as for tight spots on the Ocean with the new Flagship Undead - hit it JUST BEFORE the enemies rounds are to strike your ship... and you may actually survive :D

Very usefull for BB but then its kinda usless because if someone else already has it for BB then whats the point?

When used skillfully its useful in numerous other scenarios, and can help protect your ship.

There are definately other threads on this debate/subject, further discussion/debates should likely be continued there.

Not to me.
Using it for 10 seconds I don't get any damage to my ship.
It can really save you if your going to get a broadside by a Storm Reaper.

It makes boss battle easier, which is good. But on the seas, it's not so amazing.

i got but dont use it cause i dont know how to sail lol

aye jade u sail just find. i my self dont use it dont need it. main thing dont get in to a broadside with bigger ship stay in front. crossing the t is and old naval tatic.

As others have said it is one of the items that can help with the bb. With ship to ship battles coming soon, may be also a helpful item soon for that. I would at least have a point in it, its not just broadsides that it can help against, but cannon fire as well.
