Sailing off in to the horizon
 

I just wanted to say thanks to all of you for making my stay on Pirates fun - I learned a lot here from everyone, made some great friends, and cracked myself up laughing on countless posts. But now it's time to say my goodbyes. I'm retiring a fully mastered level 40 and a level 30. Pirates was my first foray into the world of MMOs and I definitely learned quite a lot from it. I went from being a casual gamer to someone who's simply looking for more. I'm switching off to Pirates of the Burning Sea, as is a good number of my guild. I'm not going to list the many reasons simply because I don't want any new players thinking badly about Pirates. Because the game really is fun the first time around, worth every penny despite the glitches, issues, lag and all that. I'm hoping that the summer update brings some much needed changes to the game and I wish you all well in playing it. I'll most likely be lurking here on the boards, posting on occasion, but it's simply time to sail some new waters.
