Level cap on cannons and sailing?
 

I've gotten both of these to level 6, but now no matter how many more ships I sink, the reputation bars won't move. It says I'm still getting reputation points, but it's not getting any higher.

Anyone else seen this? Is there a level cap? My cutlass is at 6 and still climbing...

Finally, has anyone been able to shoot any cannon shot besides the normal cannon balls and grappling hook?

I've been able to use the grape shot and the chain shot. I just scroll up on my mouse.

What level is your notoriety? Mine is at eight and so are my cannons.

The points needed to level up may be hard to see but they are there. Are you sure it is not moving at all? The higher up you get in levels the more and more points you need to get to the next level.

i am not up there yet on cannons but was not aware that sailing levels were working (can some one send me a pm with sailing instructions? do you have to have a crew on board?)

so yea, i was just being a noob. my levels are still climbing, its just getting slooooow, hehe. lvl 15 sailing to get a bigger ship!?!? this is gonna take awhile...
