You have to post a few more times before your "posting probation period" wears off.....

Due to such a large number of people on the site, new members go through a moderation period before they are allowed to freely post. Here is a snip with more info from the front page:

Quote:

PLEASE READ
Your account is in a moderation queue, this means the moderators will need to "accept" all of your posts. This happens to all new members until we see that you are ready to post on your own. Normally it will take 1-3 weeks so feel free to post normally as your posts will appear once they are accepted. Please only submit your posts once, when they are accepted they will show up.

You should be able to post freely now. I normally remove the moderation after about a week but I've been busy lately. I know it's a bit of a pain, but it really does help us in the number of ways. We're able to sort out advertisers, spammers, and other unwanted users quickly without having to disrupt the forums with their junk. It also allows us to help some users that may not know our policies very well. A little guidence upfront can go a long way in making their experience here a happy one.

I tried to post a new thread in The Helm subforum and got the moderation message.
I never got that message when posting in that subforum before. Is it a new rule in The Helm?
Thanks.
