Is my signature too large? I found two conflicting size maximums and I wasn't sure which one to follow.. :bookishfj7:

According to the FOP Forums and Policies on the POF DOW Wiki it can be 500x200 pixles and not to exceed 200kb :)

Your sig is 308x200 which is fine. Where did you see the conflict in sig size? I'd like to fix that as it should be the 500x200.

I think I must be full of bologna because I can't find it anywhere.. I swear I saw a 100 pixel something or other somewhere. I can' only find the 200 now.. Sorry for wasting everyone's time, I guess I was having a blond moment.

I think I know what your talking about, emma. You mean where you edit your signature. (It states 500x100 there. ^^)

I thought I was going crazy, I'm so glad you found it. It doesn't say andthing on my edit page, not anymore at least.. That was the first place I looked! Thank you for finding it.

Ther should also be a length measure mesuarement including text because i saw someones port was like 5 words , the sig was like 100x100 or something liek that i didnt measure it but htne he hda a whole mess of type that must of been like 50 lines. I mean at least make a better sig to take up some of that room...

Technically, the entire sig, graphic, and text is not to exceed a 500x200 area.

I know I myself have exceeded these guidelines in the past and have sinced changed my sig to make sure im within them.

As a "Pirate" ranked member, you currently do not have a signature/userpage added into your account. To recieve these extra options, you need to Upgrade your subscription. When you do this, they will be added to the account ASAP.

No, if you paid you will still have the http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/f...nks/Pirate.png tag and recieve your items. The reason I refer to it in that way is becuase the first 5,000 members who joined our site were considered a http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/f...ks/Founder.png member, and recieved a free-for-life signature and userpage for helping the site get it's sea legs, then everyone after that received the http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/f...nks/Pirate.png tag and had to pay for a subscription to recieve these items.

what are the ranks? like "ranter" what do some of those mean? i thought i saw a thread by batleth about that. . .

You need to join a group first then they wil probably give you a badge but im not if you have to wait for the leader to give it to you personally. Ranter im not excatly sure but it think its that new group that was just made.

In your UserCP, click on "Group Memberships" it will present you with the various groups, etc that you can join become part of.

Some of these groups have tags that you can add under your name here on the board, such as "Ranter". Once are part of a group with one of these, you can choose to display it from the same group memberships area where it says..

"You may choose to be identified as a member of the following groups"
