Invinsible time?
 

They realy need to add this into the game. So i was soloing this corvette just a few minutes ago. Of course no problem. But as soon a i came back to my boat I found a spanish blood scourge waiting for me and took me down in no time. To make it more painfull i got 2 royals and 2 treasure chests off of the corvette which is a great loot. Now how about adding or at least giving you time to get from the point were you just got on your boat and be actualy getting speed to make a clean get away?

So yeah thats my adventure for today...

Haven't you ever heard the saying:
"anyone can rob a bank but only the best robbers can get away with the loot!"

Plan ahead, when u disable the corvette look around and be sure you know where you are and whats bound to be in that area. Wait until all other enemy ships are clear of the area then board. The game gives you 10 minutes to get this done which is ample time to plan your escape. Even better, don't disable ships where other really bad ships go. I know its tempting to launch off cutthroat or kingshead and grab a freebee but just be smart and plan ahead a bit more.

I had a similar situation, I suppose, but my issues were before I'd boarded the ship.
I'd just grappled to a EITC Corvette, when I got shot at & sunk by a Storm Reaper. Both me & the Corvette sunk.

Well Gene.. I would agree for the most part but its kinda of hard when its a sloop thats aiming to hit you. Thats also hard to do when you have to kill the EITC soldiers befoe they kill you.


lol jeena I had the same problem once but that was kind of my fault. I had my LS and i was trying to take out a flagged corvette but then all of the sunden all these war sloops (navy) came out of no where I spent like 5 minutes trying to take out the corvette because i was trying to what out for the firebrands of the navy. I was funny becasue I used the corvette as a blockade from the enemy fire. I going to guess the corvette would of sunk in the first 30 seconds of that fight. I did end up sinking so that wasnt funny but yet very enjoyable fight.

What ye should have done after ye came back.. is use take cover then use full sail and run.. or before you even grappled.. ye could have crippled the blood scrouge or whatever then instead of boarding the corvette.. board that and get a better loot.

I never saw the BS until after I was on the corvette. It suprises you how fast sloops actually go.

Option 1: Take Cover>Full Sail>Ramming speed

Option 2: Bring a crew

Option 3: get a better ship (warships are hard to sink even by the thunder broadsides)

albeit by a bug, who could resist the 4 mins of invincibility then :P

i do hope that was fixed though.
