I've seen that happen before, as a matter of fact, same island. I wonder if its a glitch there.

this is not an island glitch, it works on all crabs, but looks better on gaint or rock, doesnt do much on sand

A couple of other things - with those crabs, their shadows were also much bigger than normal, and when they died, the "Giant Crab" text was huge, and way above my head (you have to pan way up to see it).

Also, I was messing around with some Dread Scorpions on Rumrunners, and they have a similar issue but in reverse - teeny tiny chains, shadows, and text when they died.
