customizable ships
 

now, I have a frigate, so Im usually the biggest thing in the water, but when a war ship, or even another frigate sails next to me, well... for lack of another phrase, i dont feel as special ='( . lol

joking aside, I think it would be a great addition to the game to have customizable aspects to your ships

heres how i think it could work, you go to the shipwright, he gives you the normal options as well as a new one, a customize option

from there you select which ship you want to modify, and then you can change the color of the sails, change the statue on the front(its normally a skeleton)

you can change the finish(paintjob) of your ship, and even create your own pirate flag.

this will be a great addition to the game, to premiums as well as non-premiums

Very heartily agree with this. Ships do look to generic and if we can customize our players it would be great if we could customize our ships

I would love that, the ability to change the colour of the sails (though I think the colours should be limited to natural colours, such as cream, golden, black, dark red- no odd colours, like bright pink & stuff).
& the same with the ship finish, that would be so cool, like we could pick darker finishes, reddish finishes, cream finishes, that would be amazing.
Though I think if it were to happen, it should be expensive.

I've been wanting this since I first noticed that it wasn't an option. Maybe they should also charge extra to repair (or drag from the bottom of the sea and fix) a customized ship.

They could do the customizable pirate flag like the customizable emblem on Mario Kart DS, with boxes that you can fill in with color in order to create a picture.
