Flagships and you!

Well so I was invited to plunder on a boat so I got crewed by the one of my guildies then I tped to them. As soon as I got there they started to grapple to a flagship but I didnt go. I forgot to take a screenie but It was funny because I could still do damage to the enemies on the boat while I was on the cannon which made the trip a whole lot fast. You know.. now that you mention it.. Y dont some people stay to gaurd the boat? At least that time I was the one guarding it.. lol

Havent seen this in quite awhile. Used to happen frequently, one or more of the crew members being left behind. Used to tell everyone to hit F1 twice (used to have to do this, or they'd be stuck) and then man a cannon. We'd taken many a high level flag ships back then with a guy blasting the mobs on deck with cannons.

Only makes sense, should be a way to NOT board the other ship if you dont want, but then I guess it might take away the penalty if the rest of the crew gets killed on the enemy ship (ship sinks).

But it would certainly be great to have if you're sailing solo! I've been having bad luck looking for a specific kind of ship (EITC Corvette) lately, only to find out that the only ones convenient for me are flagships. So I can cripple the ship, no problem, but then I get mauled when I finally board. Although I have been able to take out the guy at the wheel with cannon fire...
