how do you check to see how many

players is on a server im not trying to find out who but how many is on that server.

because I choose a quiet server and go to a area only to find more than 3 players in that area
I change again some more in that area i spent half the day jumping servers .

1 day i played 3 hours and the other 6 was jumping servers one day alone.

you don't want to find anyone on the server?

I dont believe there is a way to determine a number of pirates/players on a server.

The only indications they give us are: quiet, ideal, and full.

I don't think there's any way to tell besides the "Quiet" marking by the server's name. It's really hard not to find at least 10 people on any server, at least in my experience.

well im not the only one that would love to be able to pay extra just to have a private server that would be respectful enough to other players to require a password to login to that would be by invite only to enter that server just to be alone sometimes just to lvl in peace.

besides the lvl cap of 40 is a bit low isnt it most online games the max lvl is 70 to 80 are higher besides the weapons are are bit weak i think
because you can still die to easy with say 34 creature when you are 36 lvl

This depends on the area you're going to.

For something like the Kingshead parade ground, it doesn't matter if it's a quiet server or not. Quiet servers are probably worse for that particular spot, because people will actively target the quiet servers.

For seagoing activity, it also depends. The seas around Padres are almost always going to be busy. You may want to head out to someplace a little more remote. I'd tell you where I go, but that would ruin it for me.

Remember the more people on the server the more enemies while sailing there will be. Or at least thats how ive seen it.

I went to a quiet server Saturday, looking for 'Vettes for the cutlass quest. Passed the docks of Tortuga only to find about 25 pirates...all dancing.

Sometimes quiet server=party server.

lol That would of been funny to see.
