Pirates DXD channel problems...

I know that I've talked with one of my guilds about this, but is anyone else having trouble accessing the Pirates DXD channel? I constantly see it load to 100%, but then nothing happens. It just sits there. No next page.

This is really frustrating. All I want to do is look at the stats of the guilds I'm in, but even launching it from the piratesonline.com site doesn't work.

Any suggestions? Anyone else having this problem? Would complaining to the Pirates Online people even matter?

:piratear: I'm sure that I'm just tired and cranky for the second night in a row.

try updating flash. this worked for me. But I do still get stuck occassionally. Not much you can do but refresh and go through the whole process again.

I wish Disney would create a regular HTML site rather than use Flash all the time.

I have the EXACT same problem, on multiple computers.

Updating flash does nothing. The MAIN DxD page comes up fine, other channels come up fine, the "Pirates" channel hangs at 100%

Unfortunately its the only DxD Channel/Page I have any interest in.

This happens to me a lot, too. Strangely, when it wouldn't load on IE or Firefox, it did load on Safari.

I got it, too. All day yesterday. Then it finally worked last night.

If it doesnt work in IE, then its pretty useless.

However it did work this morning. I suspect a problem on Disney's end.

Thanks y'all!

I have a fresh version of flash on this machine and have tried Safari and Firefox. I tried to get in again tonight. Same story. Hangs at 100% loaded.

I could try other browsers, but when the other DXD channels work and it's just this one that fails to load; I'm guessing that won't help.

I've gone ahead and submitted a bug report about it tonight. Was it the correct path? Who knows. Will someone get my report and respond? *Shrug* Will they fix it? I hope so. :psmiley35:

Hi Cloudburst!

The Pirates DXD channel lets you look at information about your pirate(s) [notoriety, skill levels, ships, treasure held, etc] and that of your friends and guildies. It also gives you rankings of where you fall within those two groups. You can also set up planned events within your guild (plundering sessions, meetings, etc.) from your guild panel.

It can be found from www.piratesonline.com as a link on the left hand side of the page called "Players Channel XD" under the heading Community.

However, despite my putting in a bug report (and being told that I didn't attach log files :mybadki6:), it still appears to be down. When it's operational, I find it helpful to check up on my guild.

It was a week before I could get on.. I tried updating the flash trying it in different programs. I finally cleared my history and restarted and it worked. It was most likely luck that it did though. I've tried accessing it via regular dxd then going to the potco channel and it would work until I got the the potco part.. I think it's the pirates channel that's the problem. It's completely hit and miss, but mostly miss.

I just got on without a problem. It actually shows you as being online. Did you get it to work?

Yes. Finally! I have no idea how because I'm not aware that I did anything different. But YAY!
