Starting a skills list?

Is there a skills list (complete with descriptions and level 1-5 upgrades) for each type of skill available anywhere? I did a search and didn't see one, but I'm thinking of starting over and ignoring the Black Pearl Quest in order to level up my weapons and skill easier (especially since I now have the technical aspects of getting around in the world a bit easier).

I know that for stuff like the Voodoo Doll, the only descriptions on the main skill say something about adding another target, but stuff like tacking (sailing) and right and left broadside (cannon) are a little more complex. Stuff like pistols and daggers are probably more important, too.

Basically, I think a list would be a helpful "sticky" for new gamers especially, but also for those of us who are thinking about starting a new character.

It might also make a good new sub-forum, since there seem to be ones for quests, tips, and even other weapons.

If someone wants me to start one, I can start with what I have currently and come up with a clean format in order for others to add to.

Im not sure how much or how comprehensive of information your looking for, but the Wiki has descriptions of weapons, and skills.

As for a sub-forum, I dont think one is necessary, there are many threads in the weapons area regarding weapons builds (ie use of skill points). The sailing area has info on sailing builds, etc. Also discussions on the usefulness of each skill, which really appears to come down to personal preferences... there is no "wrong" way.
Updates continue to come to POTCO which also change the usefulness of skills here and there. Saving a few skill points for future use has become a standard.

You're probably right about a sub-forum, but a nice comprehensive list might be nice. I'll do my best to start one and see if people find it useful.

I started one, got nowhere.

AHA! I see...the problem is, as your notoriety level increases, so does your strength (either that, or even the skills that don't claim cross-training (like the dagger-pistol ones) actually affect others). I wrote down damage and point totals and for some of them, it's different between two different characters.
