Light sloop = speed of light
 

well, i originally went from ship to ship, upgrading until my bes tship as of yet, a regular frigate, almsot to a war sloop. It was terribly slow movement, including the galleon id had before the frigate, so i thought heck, ill try a light sloop

I've gotta say, light sloops are god if you want speed, i go island hopping at the speed of light. Quite a useful technique, even when i can't use ramming speed or full sail right away.

actually it seems ls is the fastest ship in the seas but its not proven the reason u think u are going fast is well bc its a tiny ship

Yeah it even said on the fan kit that light sloops are the best for transportation. And they are, really. ;) I wish I still had mine but I won't mess up my war fleet for a wee small dingy.

I thought War Sloops were fastest, or at least so they seem, I pass the light sloops when I go sailing.

Well, I don't bother to sell them from the start until I really have to, i.e., buying a War Frigate after I've bought the other two War Ships. Between warping and a Light Sloop, travel is fast enough.

I think any sloop is quick, especially if you max on the windcatcher passive skill.

havin a war galleon and frigate, i kept my dingy(sloop) as we call them, if fun to take on a warlord with them, they r fast lol

light sloop is the fastest cause i used a frigate and a light sloop zoomed past me

One way to settle this is to have a race.. whos up for it lol just kidding
