go to kingshead and fight the big group of navy soldiers

As mentioned. Go to Kingshead and level up there until the rep drops down too low.

Then head over to PDF into Beckett's Quarry and nuke the everything in the area just down from the entrance to El Sudoron. Again, until the rep gets low. Also, bring potions for in-battle healing, but use the diggers to heal you between fights for 5GP. More time (and thus, cost) effective.

Once PDF peters out rep-wise, head over to the corner in Tormenta (with the Mollusks and Urchinfists), and proceed to CAREFULLY work your way up there. Take some time to scope out the travel patterns for the various three spawns.

The primary one, straight ahead from the dig spot (where the one Pearl Quest gets dug from), tends to move out to the left once it spawns or in closer to the ship along a straight, slightly diagonal line that runs back and to the left. You get Mollusks and Urchinfists from this one.

The second one is almost fixed. It's usually a Mollusk or a Seabeard. They just kinda stand there until attacked. It's to the left and towards the "back" as you're facing out from the corner by the dig spot. Almost 45 degrees from the corner.

The third is the one you REALLY have to watch when you run around. It's directly in front of the second spawn point by a mound of dirt. The spawned run in one of two directions. Straight over in front of the corner/dig spot, or out in back of the first spawn point. And sometimes the spawned monster will do BOTH, though usually he'll run out back first, then across (at least in my meager experience).

Again, don't just rely on my descriptions. ESPECIALLY since the servers are patched on a pseudo-kinda-sorta regular basis. So it COULD change. Take some time, take your first few kills in there SLOW (or with help in case you get in over your head), and scope the area out for yourself. With suitable assistance (and if you're in there with others DEFINITELY crew up!).

This advice works for pretty much ALL your weapons save pistol and grenade. Mostly because you can't use the pistol in Beckett's Quarry. Substitute the caves by Romany Bev for that. Start up top with the lesser undead, then as the rep declines, move downstairs by the image of Jolly Roger. Unfortunately, you GOTTA be careful here. Nobody to heal you.

Also, come to think of it, Cangrejos is looking like it might be a decent place to level mid-range against the new French undead too.

Also on saving points of skills, DO IT. When levelling my pistol, I had to buy a point in silver shot to use against Tormenta enemies. It didn't do much any real damage (and killing an Urchinfist with it would be an exercise in futility), but for Mollusks, it's GREAT. Pop them with hex-eater until they stand still, flip over to silver shot and fire about 15-21 times. Then switch back to something that does monster damage (aimed shots), and finish them.

100 rep every time unless you miss a lot.

ummmmm .......................ok any where else besides kings head?

Again, you can try Isla Cangrejos. Start with some of the lower level French and try to get thim in formations conducive to being blasted as an area. Then, once you have better area of effect, graduate yourself up to the bigger stuff.

Padres back beach is where I go.

Try El Sudoron and kill stumps, or Catacombs to kill those skeletons, or go to the top of Kingshead and kill the mercenaries and such.
