PVP Glitch
Basically from what I can tell, pvp crew battle is a total complete failure. Basically after spending a full day of crew battles, not a single battle went through with the crew we had.
Several reasons this has happen, such as people basically trying to use cheats. So what is going on is this, a crew invites another crew. Someone else then starts inviting other friends off the friend list. With a combination of canceling and going into the pvp, they invite others off friends list, so the entire crews always end up broken up. This with the cutlass and invulnerability type things, are combos from all this from what I can tell. The result is people are being healed with no tonic, never miss with cutlass, though they are out of range of pistol. Whatever the exact thing is I haven't worked it all out, but basically if they only want to go cutlass, beware. This is leaving people in rocks healing, to being able to attack their own team and all sorts of bugs. This and full crews using the little guy to draw a single player to a crew battle has left this what I think, a complete mess. I hope this isn't what we can expect in ship battle. |
really? oh my that is a lot of bugs but notice the only pvp bug they fixed the one where you can leave pvp staying undead. i tried crew battle last night accidently (dont ask @_@) and i got stuck on the loading screen it wouldnt load.

Yes there are guilds out there that actually do nothing but PvP. They build their pirates around it. Im sorry but its just stupid for me to do that. I would rather have fun with friends than go around "Wanna do a Guild PvP?"
This actually happened to me a few days ago. We accepted, brought a few friends and rules are set. We get in PvP and they break every one of them jumping like fleas with their sword, and yet they still die! When its over, they lost and rechallenge? We dont accept since theres more to the game than PvP'ing a group until THEY win. Besides, who wants to play with cheats? Its one thing to hack against the NPCs but to agains people? thats just stoopin to a low level. |
Well pvp isn't the only thing I would like to do, but with level 40's with nothing else to do, I have been checking some of this out.
Several days ago I posted the undead bug is/isn't fixed. You can still come out undead, but you can't use this to gain rep, and actually loose cash from ships. The method is basically what I have described above, with going in pvp, challenging friends off friends list, finally getting jumped to different pvp's. Weeks ago I saw the deal with cutlass, so I started looking into it more and watching. I did notice it appears to be tied to the undead bug, from what I could tell. With broken crews = someone is challenging others while in a match. As we were checking this out the group also noticed the jumping thing, especially when someone pulled a staff, staff may do more to them or something. When you get undead, you can actually attack someone that you were tied with outside the pvp arena. Also appears you can attack your own crew in the pvp match. One of things I noticed this time was putting the cutlass away, so like ammo with the undead bug, when you redraw it everything is recharged. I have not figured out why exactly it is hitting from a distance, but what little I did with the undead issue it appeared blade storm would do that outside the pvp arena. I basically agree with what Angel posted. Npc bugs, ship invulnerability type things, is something everyone can choose/ or not to use and is not directly having affect to other players. I know one thing, pvp should be what you can do to survive and best eliminate a opponent. I sure won't be doing any more of these lets only use cutlass type things, so someone to lame to pvp with out some cheat might win with a unearned advantage. |
If you do a search you would be able to find how to do the Jump cutlass thing. It looks like ur across screen when ur really right in front of them attacking them.
