being a healer
 

Today at level 25 I finally got out my doll for the first time and leveled up to level 10, I put 5 points on the heal and I have to say while it is not an easy task, ( I was really tired after all that medical care! :buds: ). . . . I enjoyed helping and healing people more than I enjoy killing! :psmiley27: :laughks2: Maybe that's my medical background coming into play!

I too enjoy running support :) the grenade quest is a lot of fun to help out on if you enjoy this type of play :)

When it is most fun for me is when I watch a lower level player level up to the next Not. level "under my care" :pirate2: not that they couldn't have made it without me, but that hopfully, they got there just a little faster! . . . . sometimes it is tough when you first get started and I would have appreciated someone watching my back a few times early on. :piratewheelgo2:

You enjoy healing more than killing? That evens you out some... you sound like a wonderful person! As it goes for me, I just like running around and pressing buttons. However, healing strangers is quite fun.

LOL I dont mind healing also. Its kinda nice to see someone in need, I'll heal them and wow....they say TY!!!

Yes, today I stood and watched the backs of three lv 4 pirates and all three were level 5 when I left :) and yes . . . most say TY but not all. . . . that's OK. yesterday, I had a lv1 start swinging his sword at me , he must have thought I was attacking! LOL I told him "hey don't kill the healer! LOL", then I guess he got it, cause he said sorry and TY ;)

i find healing is a great way to make higher level friends (with nice big war ships) lol.


Use heal > cure>heal on a level 35 and you got yourself a Rep machine. lol

I like using two computers to level up cutlass or whatever weapon I choose to. One heals other fights. It does make it easier as there is less trips to the jail house and to restock on tonics.

And then sometimes when I'm doing quest stuff for one of them I end up somewhere where someone is just doing leveling up on a weapon I'll leave one of them there and heal them as I do other stuff on the other player until I need healing of my own. So far everyone seems to like it and I get a little voodoo rep for doing so.

When I join random crews on ships that are going after the big flags and when we board and there is a bunch of 35 pluses navys I take to te healing right away.

My healing is at rank 3, and I really like that. But the problem is I maxed the targets to attune, which I now realize was poinltes... So I only have one skill point on cure, on my next character I plan on putting like 3 on cure.

Or, when the update comes out you can re-allocate your points for a fee. Thereby making your current pirate better.

I also like healing. I have made some great friends doing the taking turns thing. One fighting and the other healing. Great for lvl up.

The only issue I have with Cure, is that it takes so long to recharge.

Id rather pump 5 points into heal, than put more than 1 or 2 on cure.

That is pretty much the way I have mine set up. I like the cure cause it can make the difference when in a larger group trying to heal 3 or 4 at the same time and help everyone last long enough to kill those high levels on a navy boat.

I just do one on Cure for the buffer. Heal is more health and rep per second I'm sure.

I personally dont like healing because then people depend on you for life and when they die i feel bad :(
